When the regular season is over, college football enters into Bowl Season. This is where teams are to selected to play in bowls which are sponsored by major companies and corportations. The number one and two ranked schools play for the National Championship while the teams who finished the regular season ranked 3-8 play in the “BCS” bowls. BCS stands for Bowl Championship and it is an acronym for the Division 1A football conference.
